If you really want to get into the Christmas spirit this year there’s an interesting holiday event that takes place annually in Hudson, Quebec called The Walk To Bethlehem.

You are taken on a guided tour through a series of live reenactments of various scenes leading up to the birth of Jesus. On the route you encounter kings, shepards, Roman soldiers and beggars. The tour culminates at a manger and the birth of Baby Jesus.

The Walk To Bethlehem takes place every evening from December 14th-16th, 2007. Tours leave every 10 minutes starting at 6:00 p.m. with the last one leaving at 9:00 p.m. It takes about 60 minutes and refreshments are served at the end.

This event is a really great experience for the whole family and best of all it’s free. Just remember to dress warmly because a good part of the tour involves walking outside.

You can get more information by going to the Walk To Bethlehem website.
