Help A West Island School and You Could Win $10,000
St. Paul’s lead is dwindling as an Alberta school is making a strong run to take first place. We need your help to maintain our lead. You can vote once per day until November 4th and each vote gives you a possibility of winning $10,000 as well.
St. Paul Elementary School in Beaconsfield was chosen as one of 10 finalists in a cross Canada contest to win a customized outdoor classroom valued at $20,000. St. Paul’s is the only school in Quebec to reach the finals and can use everyone’s help to win the top prize.
The winner is chosen by popular vote online. Just like on American Idol and similar shows, the final decision rests with the public. You can cast your vote for free on MajestaTreesofKnowledge.ca. Voting is open until November 4th and you are allowed to vote once per day. Voting is as simple as entering your email account and making your selection. Let’s see what West Islanders, and in fact all Quebecers can do to get one of its own schools to grab the top prize.
About the Competition
Majasta, a toilet paper company, sponsored a contest that was open to all schools across Canada in an effort to promote greater environmental awareness. Schools submitted their eco-friendly projects to a panel of judges. Ten schools from across Canada were chosen as the finalists and the public is now able to vote online to determine which school will be the winner.
