Filed under: Family, Event, Education — webmaster @ Sep 22nd, 2011

An exciting and unique event for children and their parents will be held Saturday September 24, 2011 at Babar Books, West Island from 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM. Babar Books will be hosting a Mirror Reading featuring Dr. Shelagh Robinson.

Dr. Robinson is a Montreal psychologist and creator of Mirror Read Books. Mirror Read Books are printed in reversed text so when held up to a mirror, they are easy to decode. The experience of reading with a child, in a mirror, is completely transformed. Face-to face-reading, in reflections, encourages learning through connections.

You can find out more about Mirror Reading and the Mirror Read Research Project by visiting MirrorRead.com or calling 514-495-1071.
